Brief Introduction
The Spleen Meridian is one of the twelve regular meridians, one of the three Yin meridians of the foot. Superiorly, it connects to the Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming at the medial end of the big toe; inferiorly, it meets the Heart Meridian of Hand-Shaoyin inside the heart. The meridian runs along the anterior border of the medial aspect of the lower limb, then the chest and abdomen. The first point is Yinbai (SP1), the last point is Dabao (SP21), with 21 points on each side. It mainly treats disorders related to the "Spleen". It governs disorders of the Spleen: pain at the root of the tongue, inability to move the body, poor appetite, vexation, acute epigastric pain, loose stools, dysenteric disorders, anuria, jaundice, inability to lie down, pain and coldness of the medial knee when standing, and inability to use the big toe.

1. Yinbai (SP1) – Jing-Well point – menorrhagia, metrorrhagia, bloody stool, hematuria, mania, excessive dreaming, convulsions, abdominal fullness, sudden diarrhea
2. Dadu (SP2) – Ying-Spring point – abdominal distension, stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, anhidrosis
3. Taibai (SP3) – Shu-Stream point and Yuan-Primary point – borborygmus, abdominal distension, diarrhea, stomach pain, constipation
4. Gongsun (SP4) – Luo-Connecting point, Eight Confluent point – stomach pain, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dysentery, vexation, insomnia, manic disorder, counterflow qi and internal urgency, qi rushing upward to the heart
5. Shangqiu (SP5) – Jing-River point – abdominal distension, diarrhea, constipation, jaundice, ankle pain
6. Sanyinjiao (SP6) – meeting point of the Taiyin, Jueyin, and Shaoyin Meridians – borborygmus, abdominal distension, diarrhea, irregular menstruation, leukorrhea, prolapse of the uterus, infertility, prolonged labor, seminal emission, impotence, enuresis, palpitations, insomnia, hypertension, flaccid paralysis of the lower limb
7. Lougu (SP7) – abdominal distension, borborygmus, difficult urination, seminal emission, flaccid paralysis of the lower limb
8. Diji (SP8) – Xi-Cleft point – dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia, irregular menstruation, abdominal pain, diarrhea, difficult urination, edema
9. Yinlingquan (SP9) – He-Sea point – abdominal distension, diarrhea, edema, jaundice, difficult urination, enuresis, urinary incontinence, genital pain, dysmenorrhea, seminal emission, knee pain
10. Xuehai (SP10) – irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, urticaria, eczema, erysipelas
