Brief Introduction
The Triple Energizer Meridian is one of the twelve regular meridians, one of the three Yang meridians of the hand. Superiorly, it connects to the Pericardium Meridian of Hand-Jueyin at the tip of the ring finger; inferiorly, it meets the Gallbladder Meridian of Foot-Shaoyang at the outer canthus. The meridian runs over the middle of the lateral aspect of the upper limb, the shoulder, neck, and head-face, connecting to the Pericardium, Danzhong, and Triple Energizer. The first point is Guanchong (TE1), the last point is Sizhukong (TE23), with 23 points on each side. It transports and metabolizes body fluids. It mainly treats disorders of the head, face, eyes, ears, nose, and throat, febrile diseases, and conditions along the meridian pathway.
